Approximately 50% of our regular clients take us to the Seattle area for commercial photography projects. We are happy to add estimated travel costs while writing up an estimate for your work. Whether your budget is a few hundred dollars, or many thousand. We do our absolute best to work within your budget, efficiently, to get you results you can be proud to show off for years to come.

    • Do you require a brief? What is a brief?
While not required, a “Brief” is an outline of the photo and/or video and delivery requirements of the job. A good brief will clearly state a description of the finished imagery being sought. Things that might be included are number of images, finished video length, preferred image orientation, delivery timeline, etc. This allows us to determine the creative and production requirements, as well as give you a more accurate quote.
      • Our company needs portraits, do we need to come to a studio?
We more often than not, shoot on location. We have studio lighting equipment which we bring to your location, and can set up a studio in an office or conference roof, or we can use the office environment as the backdrop. You can see examples of both types of work in our portrait page.
        • How much will it cost?
Nick Grier Photography works to achieve the vision and needs of each commercial photography client. Additionally, we will work with each client to meet their needs, budget and deliver the highest quality finished product. Most quotes are done with an hourly rate, plus a fee for the time spent on digital download, shot selection, post-production and delivery. Our minimum fee for a small commercial job, up to 1 hour is $250. This includes time on-site and post production costs. Other costs such as additional licensing, travel, studio time, additional crew requirements, expenses and overnight stays are quoted for of each job.
